My husband Rich is a designer by day, and mixologist by night. We both enjoy the mad science of inventing new recipes. When we first met I had very little interest in Whiskey. However, in the recent several months I found myself more and more intrigued by old school cocktails with Whiskey. So, I challenged my husband with the request that he create a drink that is infused with chocolate, orange, and the all so decadent Luxardo Cherries. And yes, he delivered. This signature drink from Rich is immensely satisfying with a balance of spiciness from the Orange Bitters and sweet undertones.
Ingredients
- 3 oz Rye Whiskey
- 3 dashes Orange Bitters
- 1/2 tsp Brown Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp Dark Creme De Cacao
- 1 tsp Cointreau Orange Liqueur

- 2 Luxardo Cherries
The Process
