Aperol is one of my favorite spirits. Blood oranges are one of my all time favorite citrus fruits. My husband Rich figured out a way to fuse these two items, and created a cocktail that includes Aperol and blood orange, combined with effervescence from Prosecco, and a floral undertone created from the St. Germain. While there are no spices in this drink, I’m including it in the Spicy Shaka series of spicy cocktails, as this particular cocktail sweetly spices up my life.
The final result is refreshing, and aesthetically immensely beautiful.
